We are a childcare center, but not just an ordinary one.
Besides 55 regular child places, we also provide 25 free child places to less privileged children living in the neighborhoods of Parera (Curaҫao). This group of children is offered professional childcare without any financial contribution of their parents/guardians.
Through qualitative day care services, Tuma mi Man provides these children with a solid foundation for a bright future.
The combination of social and regular child places is one of the most important resources for the stimulation of the development of the less privileged child; this form of integration creates the possibility for the child to pull him/herself up to his/her environment.
Moreover, parental guidance is given, enabling the entire family to progress.

As a charity foundation Tuma mi Man depends on the financial support of sponsors, fundraisers and donations in order to finance the community projects.

Goals 4 Kids
From the very start of Tuma mi Man we have been organizing a big annual fundraising event called “Goals 4 Kids”. In this FUN filled soccer tournament for local companies, up to 25 teams yearly compete with each other striving to become the G4K-champion and win the G4K-cup.
The Goals 4 Kids tournament is a weekend filled with a healthy dose of friendly competition, fun, laughter and fundraising for the Tuma Mi Man children. We also have entertainment for the kids and a food and beverage corner. So the entire family can enjoy a sportive family day, eat, drink and help us raise funds for Tuma mi Man!
Registration is open sometime around the spring months and the event takes place sometime around August (generally). However you can get more information by visiting the website.

Adopt a Child Program
We believe that every single child, despite his/her social background or origin, deserves a bright future and a chance to develop his/her full potential.
If the parents or guardians do not have the means or resources to do so, we believe that it is partially the responsibility of the community to give this child a fair chance at life.
‘It takes a whole society to raise a child’
YOU can lend a hand in providing these community children (and their parents/guardians) a chance for a better future. This can be done by joining the Adopt a Child Program, through which you can financially sponsor our community program.
By paying a monthly contribution of ANG 600 you can help a child to get:
- Day care, preschool and after school services
- Homework guidance
- Breakfast, warm lunch, sandwich, snacks, fruit and drinks
- Skilled and confident parents/guardians (by means of parental guidance)
- And all children get a high dose of love, attention, care and developmental stimulation.

Being a charity foundation Tuma mi Man constantly needs help from volunteers.
Volunteers are needed for numerous activities such as: doing educational and/or recreational activities with the children, maintenance of the building and helping out during several fundraising activities.
