    CATEGORIES:

    No matter your skill level, there’s a spot for you! The more teams your company registers (one per category), the better your chances of winning.

    • Beginner: You’re new to padel or still learning the basics. You’re getting familiar with the rules, scoring, and how to hit the ball consistently. You are focused on having fun and improving your coordination.
    • Intermediate: You’ve played regularly and feel confident with the fundamentals. You can rally, serve, and use basic tactics like lobs and volleys. You’re starting to use the walls and communicate with your partner, and you’re working on consistency and strategy.
    • Advanced: You play at a competitive level with strong technique and tactical awareness. You use a variety of shots effectively, anticipate your opponents’ moves, and control the pace of the game. You’re confident in both attack and defense and play with precision and intent.

    1. What is the format of the tournament?
      The tournament is a mixed doubles event. Teams can consist of 2 to 4 players, with two on the court at any given time. The tournament will follow a decathlon-style challenge that tests your team’s all-around skills both on and off the court. Points are earned through matches and fun off-court activities, celebrating versatility, creativity, and team spirit

      How to Earn Points:

      • On-Court Performance:
        • Group Stage Win: 1 point per win
        • Round of 16 Win: 2 points per win
        • Quarterfinal Win: 3 points per win
        • Semifinal Win: 5 points per win
        • Finalist (2nd Place): 7 points
        • Tournament Winner: 10 points
      • Off-Court Challenges:
        • Team Spirit Award: Show great sportsmanship, cheer on other teams, and have fun!
        • Most Creative Outfit: Bring your best costumes and crazy themes!
        • Best Supporters: Fans can help by cheering loud and proud—the most energetic group wins.
        • Trick Shot Challenge: Impress the judges with your most creative shot.

      The team with the most points at the end of the tournament will be crowned the All-Around Company Champion, earning bragging rights and a special prize!

    2. Do I need to bring my own Padel equipment
      You can bring your own gear or rent equipment at Padel X.

    3. What are the rules and regulations for the tournament?
      Detailed rules and regulations will be available soon.
    4. Will there be categories based on skill level or age?
      Yes, there are categories for all skill levels:

      • Beginner: You’re new to padel or still learning the basics. You’re getting familiar with the rules, scoring, and how to hit the ball consistently. You are focused on having fun and improving your coordination.
      • Intermediate: You’ve played regularly and feel confident with the fundamentals. You can rally, serve, and use basic tactics like lobs and volleys. You’re starting to use the walls and communicate with your partner, and you’re working on consistency and strategy.

      The organization reserves the right to reassign teams to a different category based on skill level. For example, a team with a beginner and intermediate player should compete in the intermediate category.

    5. How will the matches be scheduled?
      Matches will begin at 6 PM on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and as of 3 PM on Saturday.
    6. What is the duration of each match?
      Match durations will be confirmed soon.
    7. Are food and beverages from outside allowed?
      Since it’s a fundraising event, outside food and drinks are not allowed. However, we offer a variety of delicious food and a fully stocked bar on-site.
